Let’s give every tribal child a fair chance at life

In the villages of Vikramgad, Wada, Jawhar and Mokhada, bright children study on stairs, by torchlight, after walking kilometres to school. We stand beside them, with free coaching, clean water, safe classrooms and healthcare.

Every one of them deserves a Saarthi.

About us

Real service begins when we start seeing people as teachers

At Nitya Saarthi Foundation, we have always believed that real service begins when we stop looking at people as beneficiaries and start seeing them as teachers. Every child we meet, every village we work in, and every challenge we encounter reminds us that purpose is found in presence, not in recognition.

We work alongside deprived and often ignored communities in Palghar, from education and infrastructure to mentorship and long-term capacity building, so that change is sustainable, not short-term relief.

A journey, mile by mile

The Nitya Saarthi Roadmap

From three broken classrooms in 2018 to hundreds of children every year — this is the road we have walked together.

A broken classroom at Sakhare before the rebuild

The journey of Nitya Saarthi Foundation began on the ground. In 2018, we stepped into Chhatrapati Vidyalaya and witnessed classrooms in urgent need of care and safety. That year marked our first act of service, renewing and refurbishing the school, creating a safer, brighter space for children to learn and grow. Change begins by showing up.

2018

We Came. We Saw. We Built.

Our first act of service: Chhatrapati Vidyalaya renewed and made safe.

Students and volunteers gathered under a banyan tree

In 2019, education became a central focus. MBA students from Jamnalal Bajaj and MET volunteered to teach children from the villages, laying the foundation for structured learning. Later that year the programme evolved into a more systematic teaching model, with regular classes and consistent engagement. 2019 also marked the first-ever Mumbai Darshan trip.

Villagers digging a well

Access to water was a daily struggle for nearby villages. Children and adults walked long distances every day to fetch water from far-off wells. We implemented a water well and pipeline project, ensuring reliable water supply reached villages directly. It restored dignity, health, and opportunity, especially for children who could now focus on education instead of survival.

The years 2020 and 2021 brought unprecedented challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic. But education did not stop. Nitya Saarthi Foundation ensured that learning continued despite restrictions, adapting methods, supporting students, and staying connected through every possible means. These years tested resilience and strengthened commitment.

2021

Learning Through Uncertainty

Learning continued through COVID-19.

A full classroom at camp

In 2023, we took a significant leap forward. For the first time, Nitya Saarthi Foundation launched a fully integrated two-year full residential education programme, focused on preparing students for JEE, NEET and CET examinations. This marked a shift from support-based learning to long-term academic transformation.

Building on the residential programme, 2024 focused on refining systems, structure, and academic processes to enhance outcomes. It also witnessed the largest Mumbai Darshan trip till date, giving students broader exposure, inspiration, and a deeper belief in what is possible.

In 2025, the foundation continued to strengthen its educational initiatives, with yet another large-scale Mumbai Darshan trip, reinforcing consistency and scale. By now, the journey was no longer about starting; it was about sustaining and growing with intention.

Life at camp

Not just a classroom. A family.

Study circles on the veranda, revision under the trees, meals shared together, Diwali far from home. When the camp ends, the goodbyes are tearful — and many come back as teachers.

Student story

From a small village to chasing big dreams

From a small village, Vidya Wagh has journeyed to Pune, where she is pursuing engineering at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. Her Head of Department speaks very highly of her hard work, discipline, dedication and commitment towards her studies.

“From a small village to an engineering campus in Pune, Vidya’s story is a testament to what happens when determination meets opportunity.”

Every morning at camp begins like this

असतो मा सद्गमय । तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय । मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ॥

Lead me from untruth to truth, from darkness to light, from death to immortality.
