Founder

He is an engineer, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) who has worked with the top global banks and organizations. Apart from working with the top hedge funds and fund managers around the globe, he is passionate about running, cycling and teaching. He teaches some core financial subjects in the premier B schools of the country.
After visiting many remote villages and spending enough time with the under privileged communities and deprived tribes, he realized that there is a lot that needs to be done.
He founded Nitya Saarthi because he believes that we all deserve a fair chance at life, irrespective of where we are born into. He also believes in getting his hands dirty by being the change, instead of just talking about it.

Uma Seth

Co-Founder

Uma is the Co-Founder of Nitya Saarthi Foundation. She is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who has spent almost half a decade working in the United States with one of the Big 4 audit firms of the world. She also works with the top hedge funds and fund managers globally.
Her love for the nation and sheer resolve to give back to the society, where she hails from meant she had to come back. She believes that every kid deserves an opportunity to learn, educate themselves and decide what they wish to be when they grow up.
She is determined and insatiably curious about a whole load of things, but nothing pleases her more than making a difference in the lives of her fellow countrymen and women.

Dr. Sandesh Kirkire

Dr. Sandesh Kirkire is an engineer with a Masters in Management Studies from JBIMS and received his PhD from Mumbai University. He has about 25 years of experience in financial services. He was the CEO for over 9 years at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company managing public money.
He is a visiting faculty at the premier business schools of the country. He is also an an Angel investor advising startups in different sectors of Telecom , Data analytics , E commerce , Healthcare and Education.
He is deeply committed to change the lives of the deprived communities and hence along with his wife has founded  the 'Apasarjanam Foundation'.
Apasarjanam Foundation works closely with Zila Parishad schools in the Konkan and Palghar region, understanding their necessecities, build digital classrooms, organize train the trainer programs, implement english coaching in schools etc.
Apasarjanam Foundation closely guides and mentors Nitya Saarthi Foundation in implementing their water and educational projects.

Shashwat Belapurkar

Mr. Shashwat Belapurkar is currently the Chief Representative Officer - India of ING Nederland. Previously he was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JM Financial Credit Solutions. He has expertise in several domains such as Capital Markets, Structured Finance, Fixed income securities etc.

Being on the strategy team of Nitya Saarthi Foundation, he provides valuable insights on building the organization and mentors the core team to execute various social initiatives and to raise donations.

Priya Garud

Priya Garud is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in the Global Hedge Fund Administration space for nearly two decades.

She is very keen to make a difference in the lives of kids through education and exposure. She advises and executes Jayesh and Uma after a few years of formation of Nitya Saarthi and has been an integral partner on projects since then. Education, mental well-being, women’s empowerment, rural upliftment and skill development are the areas where she devotes her time and invests efforts. English being one of the biggest challenges that our tribal kids face, she is working on improving the language by building various tools and models.
